Directors and Management Team
Ric Clark is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of WatermanClark, a real estate investment and operating company formed in 2020. He spent more than three decades at Brookfield Asset Management from 1984, leading its real estate business as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Property Group, Brookfield Property Partners and Brookfield Office Properties.
Under his leadership, the property group scaled assets under management from less than $5 billion to more than $200 billion and diversified from offices into multifamily, industrial, hotel and retail, a track record of value creation across market cycles and capital structures. Mr. Clark is Chairman of the Alliance for Downtown New York and the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Association, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York and the boards of the National September 11 Memorial, the Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center and the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research. He holds a BS in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jacob A. Frenkel is Chairman Emeritus of G-30 and Chairman of the Board of Plus500 and Brainstorm Cell Therapeutics. He has previously served as Chairman of JPMorgan Chase International, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the G-30 and Chairman of the G-30 Board of Trustees, Vice Chairman of American International Group and Chairman of Merrill Lynch International, bringing global capital markets and macroeconomic perspective to the Board.
Dr. Frenkel served two terms as Governor of the Bank of Israel, where he was responsible for monetary policy, and was previously Economic Counsellor and Director of Research at the International Monetary Fund. He was on the faculty of the University of Chicago from 1973 to 1987 and is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, a Foreign Honorary Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a Distinguished Fellow of the CEPR. He holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MA and PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.
Akiva Katz is a Founder and Managing Partner of Bow Street LLC, a global institutional alternative asset management firm, and brings more than 20 years of investing experience across private equity, real estate, M&A and financing. Before founding Bow Street, he was a Managing Director at Brahman Capital and previously invested and advised at Rho Capital Management and in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Merrill Lynch.
Alongside his role on the Board of Vivion, Mr. Katz serves on the Boards of Veris Residential (formerly Mack-Cali Realty Corporation) and TransAtlantis Funding, bringing a public-market and shareholder perspective. He holds a BA in Economics and Philosophy, summa cum laude, from York University in Toronto and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Sascha Hettrich brings more than 35 years of real estate experience built in senior positions at leading international advisory firms. He was an equity partner of King Sturge Germany, a major shareholder of Knight Frank Berlin and a European equity partner at JLL, working across Frankfurt, Berlin and New York.
He has served as member and chairman of supervisory boards of listed real estate companies and as chairman and acting chairman of advisory boards of real estate service companies, pairing a governance perspective with deep transactional experience in the German market. Mr. Hettrich is a member of the Institute for Corporate Governance for the German Real Estate Industry and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, where he chaired the German chapter of the RICS.
Lefteris Kassianos is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of senior-level experience in audit, financial reporting and corporate advisory. As a Director at KPMG Cyprus, he led complex audit engagements for European listed real estate groups, with responsibility for regulatory compliance, financial reporting and governance.
Before KPMG, Mr. Kassianos was a Manager at Deloitte Cyprus, delivering assurance and advisory services to local and international clients, including cross-border structures and listed entities. That listed-market grounding supports the Group’s financial reporting and disclosure to investors. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds an MBA from the University of Sunderland and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from The Philips College, Cyprus.
Dan Irroni is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 15 years of experience in the financial sector, spanning corporate strategy, cross-border real estate and capital markets. As a Director of international business at KPMG Israel, he led the international real estate desk, advising clients on cross-border structures and transactions.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Irroni was a Manager in the IPO unit of KPMG the Netherlands, working with companies accessing the public capital markets. He holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Economics and Accounting from Ben-Gurion University.
Jan Fischer has more than eight years of experience in the financial sector, having begun his career as a qualified tax advisor. He has held a range of directorship mandates, principally across real estate and private equity, for both regulated and non-regulated structures.
That experience spans tax, structuring and corporate governance for international investment platforms. Mr. Fischer holds a BA in Financial Management and Marketing.
Paolo De Conti joined the Vivion Group on 1 June 2025 as Executive Manager in Luxembourg, bringing nearly 20 years in Luxembourg financial services and investment funds with a strong focus on real estate structures. He previously spent nearly 11 years at a Luxembourg-based Alternative Investment Fund Management Company managing real estate funds.
There he rose from Fund Administrator to Managing Director, responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the AIFM, and served as Conducting Officer — a Luxembourg senior management function supervised by the CSSF — accountable for its day-to-day conduct and regulatory oversight. Earlier in his career, Mr. De Conti spent almost nine years with a leading US financial services provider in Luxembourg, building operational expertise across Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting and Fund Investment Compliance for UCITS funds. He holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie Saarbrücken.
Sven Scharke brings more than 20 years in German property leasing and investment. Before joining Vivion, he was a National Director at property consultant JLL, leading Office Leasing Brokerage across all of the firm’s German teams, following more than 11 years at BNP Paribas Real Estate.
At Vivion he is responsible for leasing across the Group’s portfolio. Mr. Scharke holds a degree in real estate economics from the International Real Estate Business School at the University of Regensburg (IREBS).
Andrew Munt is a hospitality executive with more than 25 years of international leadership experience across the UK, Europe and Asia. As Managing Director of Penta Hotels, he ran a pan-European portfolio of lifestyle hotels and hostels, driving growth, brand repositioning and new openings.
His career spans senior roles at Ramada, De Vere and Rosewood Hotel Group, where he led brand rollouts, operational turnarounds and cultural change programmes. Mr. Munt pairs commercial strategy and stakeholder management with operational discipline to build scalable, resilient hospitality platforms. He holds a First Class Honours BSc in Hotel and Catering Management.
Alex Hayes-Griffin brings deep expertise in financing and capital structuring with a diverse issuer and investor network in the financials, real estate and infrastructure sectors globally, supporting the continued build out of Vivion’s capital structure and investor footprint. In addition to his 13 years at Citigroup in London, Sydney and Hong Kong, he spent a decade at HSBC in senior capital markets and M&A roles in Hong Kong and London after starting his career at JPM. He is a seasoned financial institutions and technology investor with a post-graduate diploma in Artificial Intelligence awarded by Oxford University and an undergraduate degree in Economics & Management awarded by Leeds University.
